What JEE advanced exam, how it is different form Jee main exam?
Jee advanced is conducted by one of the IIT’s of India, it is conducted after Jee main exam and primarily for admission in the top institutes like Indian Institute of technology. Unlike Jee main not every student got the opportunity to appear in the Jee advanced exam. Out of all the students appear in the Jee main exam ( 9lakh) only 2.5 lakh got the chance to appear in the advanced exam.
What is the exam pattern of the Jee advanced exam?
This exam is considered one of the most difficult exam in the world it is prepared by the top IITs’ of India. This paper is consist of two papers of equal weightage 180 marks each.
It consist of 51 questions 17 questions physics, 17 questions chemistry, 17 questions maths.
There are 4 sections in the paper
Section 1 it consist of 4 questions 12 marks there will be +3 for right answer and -1 for wrong.
Section 2 it consist of 3 questions of 12 marks there will be +1 for each right options and -2 for wrong answer.
Section 3 it consist of 6 questions of 24 marks + 4 for correct answer no negative marking for wrong answer.
Sections 4 it consist of 4 questions of 12 marks +3 for correct answer and -1 for every wrong answer.

What type of questions are asked in the Jee advanced exam ?
Single correct questions- multiple choice questions in which you will have 4 options out of which only one is correct.
Numerical questions in which you will have to answer the numerical question but no options were given.
Match making questions in which you have to match the correct pairs.
Assertion and reasoning in such questions you have to decide that statements are correct or not.
You will also get some multiple-choice questions in which more than one options will be correct.
What is the weightage of the each subject in the Jee advanced exam exam ?
Each subject has equal weightage 180 marks for each papes.
WHAT IS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR JEE ADVANCED EXAMINATION?
Candidate must secure good rank in Jee main, it must be under top 250000 rank In India.

This number of selected candidates can be more than the number of students shortlisted because of the same rank or score of the students.
What is age limit for Jee Advanced exam
The candidate must be less than 24 year old on 1 Oct 2024. Or born on or after 1/oct/2000.
How many attempts are allowed for Jee advanced
Only 3 attempts are allowed for Indian and other students. Before some time it was 2 attempts but now it becomes 3.
Can 12 appearing students appear in Jee Advanced examination
Yes, students appearing in 12 in 24-25 session can appear in Jee Advanced exam, and 12th passout students can also appear in the examination
Is there any percentage criteria in class 12th for admission in the iit in 2025? Or is there any minimum percentage required to get admission in class 12th ?
There is no criteria or requirement of minimum percentage to appear in Jee Advanced, but to get admission in the iit in 2025 through Jee advanced candidate must have 75% score in the class 12th.

What is process of registration of Jee ADVANCED 2025?
Following steps
- Visit the official website of Jee advanced https://jeeadv.ac.in/
- Register for the exam with JEE main registration and roll number using same password and pin.
- Fill your basic details like Name, age, parents name, address, category etc.
- Select your preferred exam city for Jee Advanced exam.
- Than you need to upload your passport size recent photograph and scanned copy of your signature.
- Then verify all the details filled in the form and submit the form.
